If n is a single-digit positive integer, what is the value of n?

(1) n + 4 is a two-digit integer.
(2) n has only two factors.[/quote]

(1) - Value of n can be 6, 7 ,8 or 9. That makes n+4 as 10,11,12,13. Can' decide. Hence INSUFFICIENT
(2) - All odd single digit nos will have 2 factors, i.e 3,5,7 and even 2. Can't decide. Hence INSUFFICIENT

Combining both, we find n=7.

Thus correct option is C
