Statement 1-
(p^9+pq)= p(p^8+q)

p is even

e(e+o/e)= e

Sufficient

Statement 2-

p(p^8+q)

case 1- p is even
e(e+o)=e

case 2- p is odd
o(o+o)=o*e=e

Sufficient
