should be E

$$\frac{2(s^2-2^2)}{(s+2)}$$

$$\frac{(2(s-2)(s+2))}{(s+2)}$$

I also got E, we know s ≠ -2 so set s = 1,
2s2−8/s+2 = -2
a = -3
b = 5
c = 5
d = -3
e = -2
Only e works.

$$\frac{2s^2 - 8}{s+2}$$

$$\frac{2(s^2 - 2^2)}{s + 2}$$

$$\frac{2(s + 2) (s - 2)}{(s + 2)}$$

$$2s - 4$$

Simplifying the expression, we have:

2(s^2 - 4)/(s + 2)

[2(s + 2)(s - 2)]/(s + 2)

2(s - 2) = 2s - 4
