If s + t = 10, what is the value of q – r?

(1) r = s
(2) tq – sr + sq – tr = 20

(1) Clearly insufficient.

(2) \(tq - sr + sq - tr = 20\)

\(t(q-r) + s(q-r) = 20\)

\((t+s)(q-r) = 20\)

\(10(q-r) = 20\)

\(q-r = 2\)

SUFFICIENT.

Answer is B.
