If the circumference of a circle is 4m, then the ratio of circumference of the circle to the diameter of the circle is

(A) π
(B) 4
(C) 2π
(D) 4π
(E) 16

The formula for the circumference of a circle is C = (2)(π)(radius). Since the circumference of the circle is 4:

4 = (2)(π)(radius)

radius = 2/π, so the diameter = 2 x (2/π) = 4/π

Now we can determine the ratio of circumference to diameter:

4/(4/π) = π

Answer: A

circumference = 2π r
Diameter = 2r
--->Ratio will be π
The value of radius/diameter doesn't matter
