Let x = 1 and y = 2 --> A = 4

Substitute the value of x and y in the options.

A. 3y-2x = 3(2) - 2(1) = 4. Correct
B. 3x-2y = 3(1) - 2(2) = -1. Eliminate
C. 2x-3y = 2(1) - 3(2) = -4. Eliminate
D. 2y-3x = 2(2) - 3(1) = 1. Eliminate
E. 3y+2x = 3(2) + 2(1) = 8. Eliminate.
