the perimeter of a rectangular house = 44 yards
length of rectangular house = 36 feet = 12 yard (given 1yard = 3 feet)
let the width be w
then the perimeter of rectangular yard = 2(l+w)
44 = 2(12+w)
22 = 12+w
w = 10
width = 10 yard

Here in yards Length = L = 36/3 = 12 , Breadth = B
Now 2(L + B) = 44
=> 2B = 44 - 2L
=> B = (44-2*12)/2
=> B = 10

Required - Width = ?
Given - 2(l+w) = 44*3
36+b = 22*3
b = 22*3 - 36
b = 30
Now converting it to yards - 30/3 = 10 yards
So A is the answer.
