Required - Width = ?
Given - 2(l+w) = 44*3
36+b = 22*3
b = 22*3 - 36
b = 30
Now converting it to yards - 30/3 = 10 yards
So A is the answer.

If the perimeter of a rectangular house is 44 yards, and the length is 36 feet, what is the width of the house? (1 yard = 3 feet)

A. 10 yards
B. 18 yards
C. 28 feet
D. 32 feet
E. 36 yards

We know that the length is 36/3 = 12 yards, so we can use the perimeter formula P = 2L + 2W to create the equation:

2 x 12 + 2W = 44

2W = 20

W = 10 yards
