B/G: 2:3
Multiply by common factor , let say 3 in this case
so total class be 15 ' B : 6 and G : 9'
G/class: 9/15= 60 % option C

Boys : Girls = 2:3 = 40 : 60 , So girls are 60%

Kudos
2+3=5, so 3 out of every 5 members is a girl. This is 60%.

Since, for every 2 + 3 = 5 members, 3 are girls, the percent of members in the club who are girls is 3/5 = 60%.
