Length of RT = 5 = (6k +4k)
-> k = 5/10 = 1/2

We know that RS = 6k and ST = 4k
Also, RT = RS + ST = 5(from question stem)

Therefore, 10k = 5
k= $$\frac{5}{10} = \frac{1}{2}$$(Option B)

Total distance between RT=RS+ST=>10k and we are also given RT=5, so 10k=5=> k=1/2.
Ans is B
