Given:
• The sequence G has 100 terms
To find:
• What is the value of the 51st term of G
Analysing Statement 1
• As per the information given in Statement 1, the 1st term of the sequence G is 5
- o From this statement, we have no information about the values of the other terms present in G
Analysing Statement 2
• As per the information given in Statement 2, the 7th term of the sequence G is 320, and each term of G after the first is 2 times the preceding term
- o From this statement, we can find out any term in the given series, either by multiplying or dividing by \(2^x\)
Hence, the correct answer is Option B.
Answer: B
Note: We don't need to calculate the value of the 51st term. We only need to ensure whether we have enough information to find out the value of the 51st term.
