Since we know the sum and the no. of elements we can use the consecutive approach to find the numbers.
Finding the Set of 9 integers: Average of elements*No. of elements=Sum of elements
x*9=90 = x=10, so x is the mean or median.
The list of 9 elements would be: 6,7,8,9,10(mean),11,12,13,14
Next 9 elements are from 15 to 23, and their average is 19
Consecutive formula to find the sum of elements: 19*9=171 (D)

Method I: The sum of the first set of 9 consecutive integers is 90. Then \(10^{th}\) number will be 9 more than the \(1^{st}\) number and this pattern will continue. So, the sum will increase by 9 * 9 = 81.

Sum = 90 + 81 = 171.

Answer D

Method II: The sum of 9 consecutive integers is 90. Numbers are 6 to 14.

Following numbers: 15 to 23 [Sum will be 171].

Answer D

The sum from 1 to 10 is 55. Remove sum of first 5 numbers(15) = 55 - 15 = 40. Add 11 + 12 + 13 + 14 = 50 to get sum as 90.
