Answer B

median cannot be equal to average when range is 25 in this scenario.

Since we are dealing number of people which cannot be a fraction.

Both of your statements say that MEAN IS NOT EQUAL TO MEDIAN, then answer should be D

OKAYYY guys!!! After lots of thinking...PLEASE remember this as a RULE...

odd number of integers can't have mean equal to median if the range is odd integer

Therefore answer is B

That's because AP with 3 members can't have an odd range
Median = average if we deal with AP

Arithmetical Progression
A(n+1) = An + k where k is constant
in such series mean=meadian

I know that it is NOT the AP, and hence, mean does not equal median.
We have 3 numbers and range 25.
Take examples of ap:
1 2 3 RANGE 2 - even
10 20 30 range 20 even
5 10 15 range 10 even and so on
So if there are 3 numbers abd range is odd then it is not an AP
