1. What is the main point of the passage?

A. To point out that the gender that has been historically branded as the weaker one cannot be considered so in the present age.

Perfect let us keep this. We are told that -- “Can we still consider women as the weaker sex?”

B. To explain the reasons that a particular gender has been historically discriminated against.
We have not given any reason in the passage.

C. To explain the reasons that a particular gender had to struggle against hardships to prove itself in society.

no reasons given. Most importantly we are not given anything about women proving itself in society

D. To illustrate evidence of women’s achievements in the modern world.

How to eliminate B from the first question (main purpose of the passage) when we have this line in the passage: "Typically, women have been treated as the weaker sex on the grounds of physical strength, intellectual capabilities, and real-world contributions."
