Simplify $$y = \frac{x + 1}{x} – 1$$ ==> y =((x+1)-x) /x ==> 1/x

1/y = x

$$y=\frac{x+1}{x}–1 = 1+\frac{1}{x}-1=\frac{1}{x}$$
Hence $$x=\frac{1}{y}$$
