x^2 + 2xy + y^2 = 25
(x+y)^2 = 25
or say
x+y=5
so
(x+y)^3 = 125
IMO E

$$x^2 + 2xy + y^2 = 25$$

$$(x + y)^2 = (5)^2$$

x + y = 5.

we are asked to determine the value of $$(x + y)^3$$.

$$(x + y)^3$$

$$(5)^3$$

125.
