Given that \(x^2 - 7x + |k| = 0\) has real roots and we need to find How many integer values can 'k' take

Any quadratic equation, \(ax^2 + bx + c = 0\) will have real roots when the Determinant, D ≥ 0. Where D is given by
D = \(B^2 - 4ac\) ≥ 0

Here we have, a = 1, b = -7 and c = |k|
=> \((-7)^2 - 4*1*|k|\) ≥ 0
=> 49 - 4|k| ≥ 0
=> |k| ≤ \(\frac{49}{4}\) (=12.25)
=> -12.25 ≤ k ≤ 12.25
=> K can take values from -12 to 12 = 12 -(-12) + 1 = 25 values

So, Answer will be E
