Solving the equation x= -2 or 3
But x > 1/2 so x has to 3.
Answer= 1/(x^2) = 1/9

x=-2 ,+3
and given \(x > \frac{1}{2}\),
so c has to be +ve
and only possible value of x = +3 as it then satisfies \((x +2)(x - 3) = 0\)
so IMO D ; 1/9 is correct
