If we multiply any two consecutive integers , we will get an even number.
(x+1)(x+2) = always even
Either (x+1) is even or (x+2) is even
Hence B

B. (x+1)(x+2)
C. (x+1)(x+3)
D. (x+2)^2
E. (x+2)(x+4)

Check by plugging in value of x as 1 and 2 for each case only option B goes well ..

B is the correct answer.

if x= odd ,

x + 1 = even

if x = even

x + 2 = even

So, regardless of the value of x , Option B will always give us a even integer.
