SOLUTION
If x, y and z are positive, is x = y/z^2 ?
(1) \(z= \frac{y}{xz}\) --> multiply by x/z: \(x=\frac{y}{z^2}\). Sufficient.
(2) \(z = \sqrt{\frac{y}{x}}\) --> square the expression: \(z^2=\frac{y}{x}\) --> \(x=\frac{y}{z^2}\). Sufficient.
Answer: D.

From S1:z=y/xz
Multiply both sides by z,we get
z^2=y/x Or
x=y/z^2.Sufficient.
From S2:Squaring both sides,we get
z^2=y/x
Again cross multiplying,x=y/z^2.Sufficient.
From S1:z=y/xz
Multiply both sides by z,we get
z^2=y/x Or
x=y/z^2.Sufficient.
From S2:Squaring both sides,we get
z^2=y/x
Again cross multiplying,x=y/z^2.Sufficient.
