(1) x/y = z

(2) x = z/y

Statement 1: cross multiply to get $$\frac{x}{yz}=1$$. Sufficient

Statement 2: substitute the value of $$x$$ in $$\frac{x}{yz}$$ to get $$\frac{1}{y^2}$$. We don't know the value of $$y$$. Hence Insufficient

Option $$A$$
