If y = ax + b, where a and b are constants, what is the value of y when x = 10 ?

(1) When x = 1, y = 5.
(2) When x = 5, y = 13.

y = ax+ b where a an b are consonants.

value of y when x = 10
stmt 1 :
x= 1 and y =5

5 = a +b -- 1 ( not sufficient)

stmt 2 :

13 = 5a + b -- 2 ( Not sufficient )

solving both u can get a and b and hence u will be able to resolve for y when x = 10.

think it is C.

I cant find anything tricky in this question.
