Hi, I went through the above reasoning. But I'm not completely convinced. I chose A. The working differs slightly...

By first condition
n is non zero which means n could be +1, +2....., -1, -2, .....
Now with the above condition and the premise that z^n=1, it can only possible if z=1. here z can't have any other value, else the question stem is proven to be inconsistent. Hence this condition is sufficient.

By second condition and the logic shared by the previous poster, it is insufficient.

Hence, A. Please comment.

for B... if Z= any number, this would leave n=0 to make z^n=1 possible.

Where is my flaw?
