I am wondering if the 14 months programme of IIM Shillong , India , PGPEX , MBIC (Managing Business in India and China) is worth attending. Since, the school is relatively new, and the course had seen only 4 batches, and given the whopping fees of INR 1.3 Million without the China immersion programmes, i am kind of sceptical towards it. And also, the school has not yet declared its placement figures.
I am kind of stuck here in a government company which isnt fruitful for my career, and i wish to switch into consulting from my current function which is oil and gas.
Someone if have any idea into this perspective, please throw some clarity, cause i am ageing fast, now at 28.
Probably will get married in a year and half, and then after that, my MBA dream would be over.
I desperately need an MBA, preferably one year, with a good outgoing package, at least better than my current one which is 12 Lakhs/annum.
