Hi, new poster to the forums-
I'm a recent college grad from Illinois State University got my degree in Business Management- Entrepreneurship. I'm starting to prepare for the GMAT not because it's impending but more so I would like to get the test out of the way so after I get my work experience the application process will be more focused on picking the school that I want. So in other words I'm taking it slow and testing out the waters.
I am likely to stay in Illinois and I've narrowed the MBA programs to this-
Top Tier- Booth and Northwestern
Middle- DePaul, U of I Champaign and U of I Chicago.
Lower Tier- Any others.
I'm shooting to get a GMAT score that would allow me to get into my choice of these schools but I think realistically I am going to end up in one of the middle tier. At this point I'm just information gathering so if anyone could give their thoughts on how i've decided to tier these schools or give their take on one of any of these schools, It'd be appreciated. I know one of the first questions will be what specific MBA will I pursue and the answer is I'm not 100% sure. I do not think I will continue into Entrepreneurship but it is possible.
