IMO- I’m guessing they are not counted. I’ve barely come across any such questions – either on GMATPrep or this forum.
So, I presume, not many of us encounter BF questions on the CATs, which makes me believe, it’s just out.

I did get 2 BF questions on my GMAT. So they DO appear on GMAT!
I feel BF is just another questions type and is as important as any other qtype, not more not less. However, the general opinion tht getting a BF on GMAT means tht one is doing well is obviously unfounded. I mean that one cant be sure about such things, so its better to take BF as just another question.

They could have been experimental questions, too. Never know and can never tell. But, thanks for sharing your experience.
