Hi all
I took a practice test yesterday and I did not hit “next” on the last questions of both verbal and DI as a result the testing software did not think I had answered them and marked them as missed. I had answered both of these correct but rather than hit next, just let time run out. I’m trying to understand what my “true score” was as I think the penalty was harsh to say the least
For reference,
-Verbal, I answered 17/22 correctly in Verbal and missed one. Technically it was 18/23 and my raw score was 80. During my first diagnostic, I scored 17/23 and scored 82.
- DI, I answered 16/19 correctly in DI and missed one. Technically it was 17/20 and my raw score was 78. During my first diagnostic, I scored 15/20 and scored 82.

Each missed question typically costs you around 15-20 points, so your actual score on this test should've been about 30-40 points higher.

We cannot say the exact score. But your actual score could be way better. It happened to me as well. I have adopted a strategy to complete the test by the time the timer hits the last 5 minutes. I'll come back and solve them without the tension of running out of time.
