I have seen lately that "most" of my wrong answers in Must be True and Main Point questions occur because of my misunderstanding on the modifiers application - some, any, most, none, all, few, etc. -in the premises as well as in the stimuli.

Just to clarify, I already understand the several types of mistakes (opposite, reverse, shell game, etc.) in the answer choices. However, this insignificant :cry: lack of comprehension has led me to silly question mistakes.

Can someone explain me or point me out where I find more details on how to spot and to handle this particular need?

I'm hoping that you can clarify the 'issue' that you're having. Are you saying that you don't clearly understand those words OR are you saying that you don't notice them when they're there (but you do know what they mean)?

Hi Rich,

I don't understand the nuances from one to another. For example, the intercharbility from subjects many/all in the answer choices. For a non-native like myself, many/some makes more sense, but in the CR questions they are non-related.

Maybe the content is related to set spaces. I really don't know.

Rather than list out all of those vocabulary words (and how to interpret them), It would help if you could post (or link to) a specific CR question that gave you trouble, so that we can take a look at this 'issue' in the context of a full prompt.

I have no specific doubt about this question, it is actually an example of importance of modifiers or set of

In the meantime, I found this useful link with a list of words, their occupied space and even their logical opposite.

Anyway, it is an excellent post and quite insightful. However, I still struggle to understand some of the answers. Perhaps, further material references. Don't know.

So, any insight in this direction, including materials, list or reasoning would be valuable.
