hey ppl,
i was wondering if powerpreps are important at all in todays time when you have gmatprep at your disposal.
In my view, the only reason to give powerprep now is to brush up on the OG only(since 100% questions are from the OG). Even the scores given are highly inflated. Or could be helpful to the moral of ppl who have been severly battered by kaplan and co.
(like urs truly) by giving a false sense of relief. 
PS: just scored a 780(51q 47v) on it.

well, not ALL PowerPrep questions are from the OG, though there were a lot of repeats. I think it's just good as a "GMAT-like" test, more similar than any other CATs out there other than GMATPrep.

I think if you are scoring 780 in powerprep or GMATPrep eventhough with few repeats, you sohlud not worry much. You will definitely score at least 700 on the real test.
.......
But if you thought about it, you could have deduced the right answer again... so in a sense repeats aren't ENTIRELY free points.. but they do help a bit.
