Important point to remember:
Inequality
In any given situation of 2 inequalites we can add both the sides i.e. LHS to LHS
and RHS to RHS...but corresponding substraction is invalid.
Factors
It's almost certain that the problem will actually contain the words "positive
factors", but In GMAT we should always solve problems with the mindset that
ALL factors are positive.
Consider awarding KUDOS if you like the post !!!

The first property is not quite right:
You can only add inequalities when their signs are in the same direction.
You can only apply subtraction when their signs are in the opposite directions.
