TheWrongGrammer
Hello all,
Since most of us are in process of application, I wanted to take a moment and ask experts- how can someone impress ad com over 1:1 meeting before the applications deadline or
What type of questions that should be asked?
I am unclear on this topic because most of the information I need about school has been answered from seminar, alumni and the website but I still wanna connect to adcom and want to show my interest.
Any help?

TheWrongGrammer hope this finds you well
In the pre-application school research phase, applicants reach out to and speak with schools and alumni to develop an understanding of their own skills and abilities and how a particular school can connect applicants with industry players and career paths that might interest them. You do not necessarily have to "impress" the adcom by asking interesting questions before applying. A sincere interest in understanding the school's specific culture, hiring opportunities, and your profile strength is enough to make a good impression on the adcom.
If you get all the above information from alternative sources like webinars and one-on-one interviews with alumni, that's good enough. The way you present the findings from all these interactions in your essay and illustrate how your skills and abilities match the requirements of the B-school and the target employers will prove to be very successful in the applications and eventually in the industry recruitment.
Hope this helps
