D is wrong... the installation was required, so you should use it

Go with D.
ACE wrong because object missing after required.
B wrong because it has no correct antecedant.

D right because them refers to chairs, though I wd prefere an object referring to installa-tion.

I believe the past perfect makes more sense here. The award was given in the past. The wheel chair ramps were installed before that.

I think it's C.

I'm not familiar with this section of the forum. Are you guys posting questions that you have the answers to, or are these questions that you don't have the answers to?

where ya been for 177 posts??

most posting Q's have OA's (official answers) and will usually post after others have a chance to answer. Some dont have OAs and are just looking for discussion or a consensus. If there is not an OA, most will indicate so in the initial post.

Guess I've been hanging out on the other boards.

Actually, all of these answers seem wrong, in other words a typical GMAT problem.

The beginning of answer C looks right but it ends wrong. I give up.

guys, why 'having installed' is needed here as it is used in D and E?
does it mean the branch of local store is still installing the ramps?
Don't you think ---- " the installation" as it is used in C should be correct..

The local branch is awarded for the installation of ramps-- whats wrong in this?

C seems correct but the very ending of it sounds awkward.

I also agree it is D.

"Local law required" what? There needs to be an object following the verb. Choices ACE are out for this reason.

Between B and D. "it" is not consistent with "ramps". Had it been "ramp" or "installation of ramps" then it would be ok.

"them" in D refers to "ramps". "award for having done something" is perfectly ok.
