A) 15%

B) 50%

C) 62.5%

D) 115%

E) 160%

1/4(40) = 10 girls and 4/10(65) = 26 girls.

26-10/10 = 16/10 => (16/10)10 = 16 or 160% increase.... E..

or missing anything ?

in 2007 40% of 65 = 26 were female

% increase= (26-10)/10 *100= 160%

E is the answer

Female students in 2005 = 25% of 40 = 10
Female students in 2007 = 40% of 65 = 26

Percentage increase = [(26 - 10)/10] *100 % = 160%
