The 30 baskets they both scored are irrelevant information.
Notice that both statements talk about the percentage of their shots they took in the first or second half. Irene could have made 100 or 10 shots altogether and scored a higher or lower percentage of them in the first or second half, but we don't care about that. We still don't know how much she is scoring in total to be able to compare that with Heather's total shots/attempts. The same analysis applies to Heather as well.
Hence Option E
