According to the sets formula for 2 overlapping sets A & B

A + B - both AB + none = Total.

Here we are to find "both AP calculus and AP statistics"

(1) AP calculus = 45. This does not tell us about AP statistics or overlap. Not suff
(2) 60 seniors are enrolled in either AP calculus or AP statistics or both...meaning total - none = 60
AP calc + AP stat - both = 60 .. Not suff as we dont know both AP calc & AP stat

(1) + (2) together : 45 + AP stat - both = 60 Not suff as we don't know how many are enrolled in AP stat.

Hence Option (E) is correct.

Best,
