Key formulas:

Total - none = A + B - Common
or in other words, at least 1 = A + B - Common

Now, Suppose
AP Calculus = A
AP Statistics = B

Question asks us to find the value of C.

Statement 1:
Only provides us with A.
Insufficient

Statement 2:
Provides us "Total - none" or At least 1.
Insufficient.

Combining statements 1 & 2:
60=45+B-C
B-C = 15

Insufficient.

Therefore, option E
