I got that 1 is sufficient, and that 2 is insufficient, but then combining, it also gives us a clearer signal of how much grapefruit is packed in each case more clearly.
I thought, that since the level of the cases being packed is not specified, answer C is correct and not A.
Please help me figure this flaw out as I know I am wrong, but cannot pinpoint the logical flaw as per DS questions

always packed 8 to a case. So, this is sufficient to answer the question: each case that is packed has 40 grapefruits.
(2), on the other hand, discusses the capacity of the case, which is irrelevant. How does it matter if the case can hold, say, 100 packs if it
always packed 8 to a case?
