one side is x other side is x-4
x^2-4x-252=0
x^2-18x+14x-252=0
x*(x-18)-14(x+18)=0
x=+18 ; 14
option D
else use plugin to determine longest side ; difference is 4 so all given are longest side only option D fits...

x(x+4) = 252 = 14*18
