A. the qualifications of the engineers are better than those of
B. the engineers have qualifications better than those of
C. the qualifications of the engineers are better than they are of
D. the quality engineers are better than those of
E. the engineers have qualifications better than

please provide explanations...

In addition to having more engineers than A, B have....
A and B must be parallel. A refers to an organization (Brunswick Inc), so too B.

There is something wrong with the question??????

I did not notice that "does" earlier. but now that it has been mentioned, it does look incorrect (and probably we should scrap this Q)

OA on this one is B and OE just says

Choice B logically compares the qualifications of the engineers in Brunswick Inc. to those of Newton Group.

editing the post..

lets just say if we have "have" in place of "does" then how do we choose between A and B.

there is something wrong with this question.

What has more engineers than Brunswick? Newton Group does. Newton Group needs to immediately follow does,

What is the source?
