Very late.
I think it should be D
The confidentiality agreement will prohibit the signers (employees) from disclosing blah blah blah..
The agreement is not prohibiting the disclosure itself. It could still be disclosed by other sources (you never know)
Shouldnt we emphasize more on the agreement ?
So it would be better -that it would prohibit...
Im not sure..
Whats wrong with E?
Other than it being in passive voice?

"to a company" is not correct. the correct expression is "to any company". So E isn't correct.
In an attempt to guarantee the security of its water purification method, the company required each employee to sign a confidentiality agreement prohibiting that its water purification methods be disclosed to companies using an analogous purification process.
A)prohibiting that its water purification methods be disclosed to companies [Incorrect, Not idiomatic]
B)prohibiting them from the disclosing of its water purification methods to any company [Incorrect, 'them' is ambiguous]
C)prohibiting the disclosure of its water purification methods to any company [CORRECT, idiomatic and sentence does not have any ambiguous references]
D)that would prohibit them from disclosure of its water purification methods to companies [Incorrect, 'them' is ambiguous]
E)that would prohibit its water purification methods to be disclosed to a company[I would prefer C over E]
Guys, I dont have an OA for this question but would you try it
B) 'them' is wrong as 'each employee' is singular
D) as problem as B
E)'to be disclosed to a company' -> different meaning, appears to suggest disclosing to one company is wrong, but disclosing to many is okay
Between A and C, i go with C. "A" is awkward in the phrasing "ts water purification methods be disclosed"
that would prohibit them from disclosure of its water purification methods to companies
I understand that gerund followed immediately by possesive noun makes it more structured. D would have been correct it was like "that would prohibit them from disclosing its water ..."
