A) not parallel
B) "today" seems to be inappropriate
C) "one", indefinite pronoun, does not refer to other nouns b/c it functions as a noun itself
D) same as C)
E) "difficulties in destroyed resources" is incomplete.
Let me guess C as :
stuctuce is "avoid...sth... from...sth...to...sth
(A) from noun to gerund phrase
(B) parallel gerund phrase
(C) from noun to noun, but it's too wordy, and "one can mean both in difficulties and in general
(D) from noun to noun, but it changes meaning, "one" is also confusing.
(E) it's right to compare with "current difficulties and future difficulties", but " potential "is misplace
Correct me , if I'm wrong...thank you
