In each of the first eleven months of 2006, sales of computers at Megabits rose between 10.0% and 12.0% compared to the same month in 2005. Did Megabits sell more computers in 2006 than it did in 2005?

(1) December was the slowest month of 2005 in terms of computer sales.
(2) Fourth quarter sales in 2006 were more than 97% of fourth quarter sales in 2005.

Going with A

Assume in 2005 for each month sales were $10 hence for 11 months, total = $110

For 2006, sales increases from 10% - 12%,
=> monthly sales were from $11 - $ 11.2
=> 11 months sales range = $121 - $123.2

If A is true then dec. sales < $10 (since it is the slowest) hence total for 2005 sales < $120

which is less than <$121 hence SUFF

Statement 2 is INSUFF cause we don't know if dec 2005 was a blockbuster month.. i.e. sales could be $1000
