In geometry, polygons with up to twelve sides have different given names; however, if the number of sides is greater than twelve, name the polygon by placing the suffix "gon" after the number of sides in the polygons.

IMO D.

It should be number of sides greater and not higher so B, C and E out

In A it should be like "geometricians/etc name the polygone", so answer is D

Go with D..

A, C 'name the polygon' is wrong
E changes meaning

D is in passive as is the sentence before the ;

All the options have POLYGONS in the end. IMO, it should POLYGON... Just correct me if I am wrong
