I go with C here . A little bit of CR skills help here. the first line' In order for an organism to evolve or survive any length of time, it must learn to somehow deal with the issue of UV rays' is the conclusion . and rest of the passage i simple fact. The first sentence conclusion is based on the rest of the passage. thus a conclusion drawn can only 'infer' from rest of the passage and not imply.
