GmatTutorKnight the ones I find on google are not based where I live :S
Regarding your advice about Verbal , Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition .. is this not the newest version? what's the most recent version? and if not we can order the old version? I think Manhattan prep gives access to their Ebooks and hard copies for the last version of books.

vv65 I don't think I have an option. looks like online it is .. and I will take it from there .. may be next step will still be online but one on one.. Hope I will not need it though.. Thanks!

Consider checking out the gmatclub study plan post. Provides some detail about the various resources out there. There's an idiom list on the GMAT Knight blog you might find helpful for Sentence Correction too.

Since you seem to be looking for online resources, in addition to seeking advice in this thread, take a look at the GMAT Club reviews for the best quant and verbal courses, and also read through some GMAT success stories to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.

You also may find it helpful to read this article about how to score a 700+ on the GMAT.

Good luck!

Hi Nour,

It sounds like you're just starting out. Is that true? Have you done any studying so far?

If you're just beginning, then it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can access 2 for free from www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a bit of practice first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the general content and question types first, then that's fine - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

When it comes to training for the GMAT, there are a variety of different resources that you might choose to use. While your initial instinct is to lean towards taking a live, in-person class, that might not actually be the best option for you. Most GMAT Companies offer some type of free materials (practice problems, Trial Accounts, videos, etc.) that you can use to 'test out' a product before you buy it. We have a variety of those resources at our website (www.empowergmat.com). I suggest that you take advantage of all of them, then choose the one that best matches your personality, timeline and budget.

I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
