IMO B

Given: x < y + z
find: max(x).

For x to be max, y+z needs to be min.

Let z =1


x + y + z =180
x +y+1= 180
or x+ y = 179

For x to be max, y needs to be min keeping in mind x < y + z
making y= 90 we get x = 89 .
