16*5 = 5 + t + 16 + 2
t = 80 - 23
t = 57

Hence option D is correct

We can create the following equation:

5 x 16 = 5 + t + 16 + 2

80 = t + 23

57 = t

Answer: D

In the figure above, the product of the two numbers in the vertical column equals the sum of the four numbers in the horizontal row. What is the value of t ?

A. 0.5
B. 3
C. 21
D. 57
E. 80


Vertical product=80,sum should be 80 answer should be D 57 because that's what is left to make it 80.

Vertical column nos. = 16*5= 80
Sum of nos. in horizontal column= 23+t

Equate the two:
80-23=t
t=57
