Options c and d are not true coz if θ was equal to 45 x would be equal to y, we can eliminate options c & d
The value of θ can be greater or less than 45degrees but not equal to it to prove the condition that x is not equal to y. So options a and b also can be eliminated, leaving option e. So E is the answer.

Without the actual x, y values we cannot determine the angle.
