it in option B is ambiguous. It may refer to either regular milk or low fat milk.

Option E clearly states low fat milk and clears the ambiguity.

In E this is replaced with low fat milk to avoid ambiguity.

A. Pronoun "This" is ambiguous as it has no clear antecedent. It may refer to "low fat milk or to "regular milk".

B. A. Pronoun "It" is ambiguous as it has no clear antecedent. It may refer to "low fat milk or to "regular milk".

C. Though this does not seems that much wrong, option E contains the original verb "was healthier" so we should go with E.

D. In this case "unhealthy chemicals" is shorter than "chemicals that are unhealthy". This option unnecessarily adds a relative clause at the end, making it wordy.

E. Correct.
