Whats wrong with A??...doesnt this show 'biasing' and thus weaken the argument.

yeah it does show biasing. But again you can't say for sure can you?

E is more straightforward --- If A always got the first to choose from they certainly had a wider spectrum to choose from.

This doesn't seem like a GMAT quality question though..
