I am appyling for INSEAD R1 Jan 19 and currently polishing my essays and filling out the form. As internal consultant for a financial services group, I travel regularly for some projects. therefore, travel allowances represent a substantial part of my pay (from 25% to 50% of annual pay).

Cheers and good luck on your applications!

I realize R1 has already passed and you must have submitted your application, but just in case, I would not include your travel allowances in the gross salary. If anything, you might want to include them under bonuses.
I hope this helps, and good luck with your application.
